The clock is delivered in a spectacular black box, setting up to meet a solid expensive device.
Inside the box, the clock is located in a cardboard slot, and since they are reliably protected from all sides, the risk of damage during transportation is minimal.
The equipment, however, is modest.In addition to the device itself, this is only a warranty booklet, a card with a QR code for loading the Huawei Health application and wireless charging with USB-A at the end of the wire.
Charging is more convenient than that of many other smart watches, since there are no contacts on it and the clock can be placed on it as you like - the gadget’s back is easily primagnetized with any orientation of the device.

When the White Field is withdrawn and with manual adjustment, the maximum brightness value registered by us was about 560 KD/m² (the same in the flashlight mode). It is difficult to test this mode, since the measuring device partially blocks the light sensor. However, according to subjective estimates, this regime works adequately.
On the graph of the dependence of the brightness on time, a significant modulation with a frequency of 120 Hz is determined, and if desired in some images with a quick movement of the watch relative to the eyes, the stroboscopic effect can be detected.However, in fact, with normal use, flicker is not found, since the modulation phase differs in the screen area.

Black color is just black at any corner. It is so black that the contrast parameter in this case is not applicable. With a perpendicular look, the uniformity of the White Field is excellent. The screen is characterized by magnificent viewing angles with a much lower brightness drop when looking at the screen at an angle compared to the LCDs, but at large corners the white slightly goes into blue. In general, the screen quality is very high.
Connecting to the smartphone and connecting ESIM
The clock is compatible with devices on iOS and on Android. However, in the first case, partial compatibility. In particular, you will not have the opportunity to install applications through Huawei Health and manage music reproduction. In addition, when conjugating with the iPhone, the action sequence is not as simple as with Huawei models. After your watch is found by the Apple smartphone, it is proposed to connect them through “settings” / Bluetooth. We have already noted that Huawei Watch 3 is one of the most functional models of the smart watches that we met. In addition to standard options - training, tracking of sleep, alarm clock, timer, pulsomer, music management, etc. - there is such an extremely rare possibility as regular automatic measurement of SPO2 - the amount of oxygen in the blood (you should not confuse one -time measurements at the user's command, which are now available in almost all new wearable devices). In addition, the clock constantly measure the surface temperature of the skin. All data is unloaded to the Huawei Health application.
The quality of the SPO2 measurement pleased us, the results were quite believable, and without a strong scatter. More precisely, the scatter is within the framework of the norm for a healthy person, from 95% to 100%. But with the temperature of the surface of the skin, everything is not so clear. In a certificate to the application, the manufacturer reports: “At a regular room temperature, the skin temperature on the wrist should be in the range of 32-34 degrees Celsius.” Several questions arise at once. The first and the main thing: why are the infrared meters that are now used everywhere in connection with pandemia, show the temperature in the region of 36.6 degrees on a healthy person, how should it be, and the clock is 32-34 degrees? We conducted tests: indeed, when measurements, the Gmini GM-IRT-860D’s contactless thermometer, the values were correct, while the clock showed 1-3 degrees lower. The second question is: why is the spread of standard temperature values when measuring for hours is so great? Say, if we assume that our 36.6 is 34 degrees “sentries”, then how can it be 32 degrees?
Theoretically, this option can be used as reference, if you count from the usual average value for you.Suppose, after a few days of wearing hours, you see that your average temperature is 34.2 degrees.So, if one day you see 36 degrees on an hour, then you should be worried and measured by a normal thermometer.But still I would like a more clear understanding of how the thermometer works in the clock and how its results are then interpreted.

There is no application store on the iPhone. As we have already noted, the possibility of installing third -party applications is one of the main signs of a full -fledged operating system, and in the case of Harmony OS, everything is in order. That's just the applications themselves in the store at the time of testing there were nothing - 41, and many of them are very dubious, glow, with a strange description and incorrect work. But you need to understand that the device was just on sale, and the developers simply did not have time to pay attention to it, and the user base is still small.
